FLAVIO LABIANO AEC |
Born: 1962, San Sebastián, Spain, as Flavio Martínez Labiano.
Education: Instituto Oficial de Radio y Televisión, Madrid; American Film Institute, Los Angeles.
Career: One-time member of the group 'La Cuadrilla'. The members met in 1979. Since then the group has grown and includes [in 1994] Luis Guridi and Santiago Aguilar [writers/directors], Flavio Labiano, Miguel Vidal, Cristins Otero, and Raúl Barbé. They have written and directed a number of short films, including 'Cupido se enamora' [1984; ph: Angel Trujillo & Miguel Villarias], 'Un gobernador huracanado' [1985; ph: Miguel Vidal] and the films below*. They have also written seven feature-length screenplays. 'Justino, un asesino de la tercera edad' [1994] is the groups first feature film.
