Born: ?, Harrow, Middlesex, UK.
Education: Art school [Sculpture].
Career: Studied sculpture, but seeing few outlets for this craft, followed up with a post-graduate course in filmmaking. On leaving art school he formed a small company making 16mm doc's, and between times worked as a runner on more prestigious productions. He became established shooting doc's for TV, but he did not enjoy the sometimes less than ethical practices that were employed in that field. However the experience that he had gained allowed him to take good advantage when the opportunity came to move into TV Drama.
