Education: Nederlandse Film Academie, Amsterdam [NFA] [1972-76]; American Film Institute [AFI] [1977-79].

Career: Ph documentaries for the Smithsonian Institute and other organizations; was offered the ph of an 'ABC Afterschool Special' which led to the ph of a 'Movie of the Week'.

Became active member of the ASC in 1993. Was a member of the NSC. Member of the Dutch Directors Guild.

Appeared in the doc 'Cinematographer Style' [2005, Jon Fauer; ph: J. Fauer, Jeff Laszlo, Brian Heller & David Morgan].
